ZM has a large, well-equipped pattern and tool making  department. Tooling is made of steel, iron, aluminium alloy, plastics, wood or rubber. Most machines are controlled by CAD/CAM system.

The equipment of this department consists of:

• Vertical machining centre CME

• Measuring machine ZEISS KMS SFC with measurement range of 2000x1000x800mm and 0,0001 mm resolution

• Spark erosion machine (max size 700x600x400 mm)

• Jig drilling and milling machines

• Face lathes/surfacing lathes (max turning diameter 3000 mm)

• Milling planers (max size 2500x1000x900 mm)

Pattern and tooling shop performs 3D measuring inspection.
